We’re Off! Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics Start NBA Season With Victories

It only seems like yesterday when the Warriors were celebrating their second successive championship trophy.

There was just enough time for Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and co to be presented with their rings before we were off again with the two teams predicted for a finals showdown back in action – and back in the win zone.

We won’t know if that will happen until the tail end of another grueling 82-game regular season.

But for now all seems good with the Warriors launching their campaign with a win over Oklahoma City, which was without superstar Russell Westbrook.

Over on the East Coast, the Celtics were just too good for the Philadelphia 76ers at Boston Garden.
