LeBron James slammed down a dunk to score his first points for the Los Angeles Lakers.
But the superstar’s red-hot start wasn’t enough to launch his purple and gold career with a win as the Lakers fizzled to a 119-128 to the Portland Trail Blazers.
It all seemed to be going so well as LeBron ran up 13 points on 5 out of 6 shooting in the first quarter.
But he was ice-cold in the second with five points and drew a blank in the third quarter, shooting 1/5 from the field and 0/2 from three-point range as he drifted out of the game.
He finished with 26 points, 12 rebounds and six assists from 37 minute. Not a bad start. But not great…yet.
