The Broderick Award is voted on by a national panel
of women's collegiate athletic directors and first presented by the late
Thomas Broderick (an athletic outfitter) in 1977. Honda has presented the
award since 1987.

The Wade Trophy is voted on by the National Assn for
Girls and Women in Sports (NAGWS) and awarded for academics and community
service as well as player performance. First presented in 1978 in the name
of former Delta State coach Margaret Wade.
